Currently 36% of our money is coming from individuals like you.
Unlike other organizations we spend most of our money on our programmes – just 7% of our revenue is spent on fundraising; way below the industry average of 20-28%.

2.Volunteer
EducAid is run by a team of very committed staff both in the UK and Sierra Leone, yet we wouldn't be able to do what we do without the contribution of volunteers
We welcome volunteers both remotely and in Sierra Leone.
For us to best understand your profile, please could interested individuals send a current CV and an email explaining why you would like to volunteer with EducAid and what areas of skill and experience you can bring.

From home
Volunteering options from home have the opportunity to create a massive impact for EducAid. Our London team handles the majority of fundraising, strategy and communications and at times has need for help in these areas.
Work in areas of web development/content creation, film production and on-going capacity-building support is also welcomed. This can be done remotely with some contact with the London team.
Interested volunteers should please send us a current CV and an email info@educaid.org.uk explaining why you would like to volunteer with EducAid and the specific areas of skill and experience you can bring.
In Sierra Leone
Our team in Sierra Leone are also so grateful for the contribution of qualified volunteers. Past volunteers have taught in schools, ran workshops, created film footage and many more!
If you’re interested in volunteering in Sierra Leone, please send us your current CV and an email to info@educaid.org.uk explaining why you would like to volunteer with EducAid and the specific areas of skill and experience you can bring.
EducAid asks that volunteers have a DBS/CRB check (usually £15-20), insurance including medivac for the extent of trip to SL to make sure you can access any medical care should you need it - rates vary.
We also ask that volunteers fundraise for EducAid (suggested target of £1,000) as a way to give back to the organisation and staff that give their time to support onboarding and working with volunteers.
3.Fundraise
Every year we raise thousands and thousands of pounds from fundraisers just like you.
Individuals get together with their friends and family to organise events: challenging, pleasurable, small and big to raise money for and awareness of EducAid.
EducAid also organises events throughout the year to get our community together and involved.
This is not the only way to do it though, there are loads of things you can do to raise money and awareness for EducAid.
