EducAid’s Ibrahim Bai Bundu was live on AYV News Television’s “Wake Up Sierra Leone” programme on the 18th May speaking about gender equality and encouraging fathers to better engage with and support their daughters' education. Ibrahim spoke about EducAid’s gender equality project Pawa (“power” in Krio) which is aimed at enabling gender-responsive leadership that empowers principals, teachers, communities and students to ensure school is the ultimate safe space - and that the different needs of girls and boys are understood and addressed.
